We left the Cape and headed southwest towards the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We arrived in Tafton in a winter wonderland of a snow squall (It amounted to a pretty dusting). Our host, my dear friend and former colleague, along with his beautiful dog greeted us with open arms and their wonderful home. We enjoyed a wonderful New Year’s Day dinner at the Settler’s Inn in Hawley. There were lots of deer, woods and stars to behold.
We planned on visiting the Chainsaw Sculpted Iceworks Factory in Lakeville, PA. Unfortunately it was closed. Our next stop is a college friend’s in Baltimore.
